This venture will provide high quality 360° photography for estate agents, schools, universities, venues, car dealerships, events, retail spaces, healthcare and more. Think Google Street View with a little more polish.
Virtual property tours have become increasingly popular with many buyers reluctant to visit places in person, so a high quality virtual tour can increase a location’s exposure without increasing a potential buyer’s exposure to coronavirus. This is not so much viral marketing, more antiviral marketing (has anyone else made that joke? I can’t be the first one).
Over the last few weeks I’ve been extensively researching the market, options for kit, software and the competition and I’m excited to get started. So to begin I made a basic website and pushed it online as it can take time for sites to start ranking well in search engines. As branding and web design is my day job I got a little carried away at this stage and ended up doing more than I intended! Two days later and we have a proper branded website: 3D virtual tours in Norwich.
- VR compatible 3D virtual tours with 360° photospheres
- Individual 360° and panoramic photographs
- Building floor plans accurate to 99%
- Tours added to Google Street View
- Fully textured 3D building geometry
And yes, Norwich; that’s the second piece of news. I’ll be moving to Norwich in February or March, and of course moving the business with me. As 1) Lucid Rhino is entirely web based and 2) so much business is conducted remotely these days the good news is this won’t affect any existing projects. I’ll be updating the business address when I have a new one but you can always contact me by phone or email.
