NCCC – Community Website Design
A church wanted a unified design concept for several ministry websites, each being differentiated through colour schemes and logos. Their current websites needed rebuilding for forwards compatibility and WordPress was the ideal choice. Their sites were also looking a little dated so they took the opportunity to refresh the look.
Building on their established brand I redesigned their site from scratch, producing seventeen templates for external development in WordPress. I wrote up an extensive accompanying detailed specification to make the development process as smooth as possible for both the client and developer.
Colour scheme palettes, a typography scheme and user interaction design were included in the specification.
These are just a few of the layouts I designed. The extensive redesign created a unique website that didn’t “look like WordPress”, while still providing the powerful tools that WordPress has to offer.
The client has since used the template for all ten of their main websites.
“Competent, creative and cutting edge all apply to Lucid Rhino’s fluency on all aspects of the web.
They have kept our websites consistently high in organic search results, up to date in function, and crisp in design. They have been webmaster for us for a long time now and we have always been very pleased with the outcome. They are fast to respond to change either by Google or technology.
The last thing I wanted was to have to worry about the website, and I never had to. Lucid Rhino were proactive and came up with creative solutions. They really do give peace of mind and keep the web presence trouble free. I would highly recommend them.”
